Meet Jack (Beware graphic pictures) Bike safety lesson

This is Jack. He is a year 7 student who attended Mossley school and was popular amongst the children who knew him within the lower years and therefore we believe this is a lesson that the children will really understand.

Jack was out playing in Congleton park with a friend who had a new bike. Jack borrowed his friends bike to try it out without borrowing his friend's helmet.

Having rode the bike for a couple of minutes Jack hit a bump in the path which meant that he lost control and fell hitting his head on the railings.

The attached photos show the result of falling from a bike with no helmet. Jack is very lucky and would like everyone to see what could happen if you ride a bike without a helmet.
