Our Year 6 evacuees travelled back to WWII. They took shelter during an air raid, learnt about Anne Frank and rationing. We will remember!

During Black History Month the children have learnt about many influential characters including Marcus Rashford; Barak Obama; Serena Williams; Catherine Johnson; Rosa Parks; Mae Jemison to mention a few.

It is great for the children to be back out representing Mossley at competitive sports. The boys were incredible, both teams showing amazing football, great teamwork and incredible goals!!!!

Our year 5 team narrowly missed out on the semi finals, they showed fantastic team spirit and great sportsmanship. 

Congratulations to our year 6 Mossley team! Datastor cup winners!!!! They demostrated amazing football, friendship and focus.

The girls were fabulous when they represented Mossley at the recent Primary School. They narrowly missed out on the final after playing some incredible football. Well done girls

The children worked hard during practices and it paid off. They were fantastic during the borough tournament and came away triumphant, having not lost a single game.

Our new student senior leadership team has been announced. Congratulations to all of the children who took part and made amazing speeches. The votes are in and we would like to say Well done to our new Head Girl Gracie and her Deputy Freya and our new Head Boy Jake and his Deputy Caleb and their prefix's Flo, Ella, Harley and Thomas. Thank you to our retiring team who have led us so well.

The candidates presented incredibly well to the individual classrooms via Zoom. The whole school voted and elected Will as Head boy, Toby as Deputy Head boy, Luca and Zeke as prefects. Sassy as Head Girl, Poppy as Deputy Head girl, Freya and Hannah as prefects 

Year 5/6 Cross Country Champions, by Mrs Knibbs

The year 5 & 6 cross country team were outstanding when they recently competed against all of the local primary schools. Both the girls and boys were the overall team winners!!!

Football Team Through to Cheshire Finals, by Mrs Knibbs

We took two teams to compete against local primary schools in what was a very tough football tournament. One team played well but were knocked out at the group stages on goal difference. However, our second team were on fire on the day and brought home the win of the whole competetion sending them through to the Cheshire finals!

The year 6 children wrote and presented some amazing speeches in a bid to be voted Head boy and girl. It was a close competition but we would like to congratulate Fin as our new head boy and Jack as his deputy and Maisey as our head girl and Lilia as her deputy.
