Swimming
We are required to publish how many pupils within our Year 4 cohort are meeting the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres using a range of stokes effectively.

Children who were able to perform safe self rescue in 2022/23 were 61.

After another successful year at Mossley Primary the results shown tell some of that story. The children have enjoyed a wide range of topics within our rich curriculum and have developed skills such as resiliance, perserverance and independance alongside high quality teaching of core subjects. Through our passion to improve the outcomes for all our children we have continued to outstrip National Averages and Local Authority averages. The processes that we have put in place in maths and English have seen progress levels increase across the board. The relentless quality improvement of teaching and learning have remained at our core and we will continue to drive forwards all the initiatives that we have put in place.
