In Maths and English this week, the children have continued to work hard on their subtraction skills and writing letters. We had Egypt come to us on Thursday where the children started to box up their own letter as if they were in Egypt.
The children had lots of fun in Science learning about friction. We discussed that friction is a force and thought about how friction is changed on different surfaces. The children experimented with this and found that the table was the smoothest surface and had the least friction.
Our main focus in the afternoons this week has been internet safety. The children have learnt all about what it means to be safe online and have created posters to show how we can stay safe. Keep a look out for a news item that will appear on the website next week, written by the children! This will also have the fantastic video that was directed by the children themselves.
